Life on-board this luxury train is relaxed and indulgent, with gastronomic dining and the convivial atmosphere of celebrating with friends.

The mahogany panelling and rich upholstery that adorn the two dining cars, Raven and Swift, set the scene for an unforgettable on-board dining experience. Belmond Royal Scotsman on-board chefs create dishes using the freshest seasonal local produce. With game-rich glens, Aberdeen Angus beef, a wealth of seafood and rivers of wild salmon, our chefs use the best local produce. All are served with regional specialities.

Enjoy a hearty Highland breakfast or start the day continental style. Lunch may be a bowl of steamed mussels overlooking a romantic harbour or seared salmon served on the train. As evening falls, take your seat in the Dining Car. Expect sensational dishes, like warm pigeon salad accompanied by blackcurrant dressing, spiced roast halibut, and sumptuous apple mousse.
Enjoy a drink from the bar, including a choice of over 50 whiskies while sitting in the Observation Car enjoying the views passing before your eyes.
