Secluded. Private. Magical. Beautiful. Just an hour away from San Francisco and thirty minutes from Napa, you will find an exquisite organic farm and private estate. Surrounded by orchards, lavender fields and vineyards, Bear Flag Farm looks as if it was plucked from the French countryside. The air is filled with the aroma of lavender and rosemary, as guests are wrapped in the farm’s tranquility. With a bounty of organic, seasonal produce coming from the farm’s fields and orchards, you will experience the best that nature has to offer. Menus are carefully planned to reflect the rhythm of the seasons and prepared by the best chefs in the region. On a very limited basis, we open up our farm to private celebrations. So often, people are separated from the real source of their food. Guests of Bear Flag Farm are brought back and sometimes introduced to the simplicity and sublime through authentic field-to-table experiences. Fine dining, surrounded by the orchards and fields from which the ingredients came, will awaken the palette and connect you with nature. Even the planning process itself allows you to craft a completely unique celebration that will leave you and your guests inspired. There are many ways to celebrate at Bear Flag Farm, including our signature bespoke offering, designed to meet your every need. We also welcome professional planners.

Note: The venue-only rental fee begins at $18,000 for a six hour event and includes the use of sailcloth reception tent for up to 200 guests.  The venue-only rentals require the services of a professional wedding planner.

Ask about our all-inclusive packages which include facility fee, food and beverage for ceremony and reception. Pricing for 100 guests begins at $53k and increases depending on guest count.

Get married surrounded by fields of lavender, take portraits in the orangerie, dine in the orchards, and dance under a canopy of stars at this gorgeous Northern California farm. Located about half an hour north of Napa, this Winters property is the perfect spot for a spring, summer or fall wedding if you’re on the hunt for a venue that’s got a real French garden party feel to it.

We recently sat down with owner Tina of Bear Flag Farm and talked all things labor of love about the property. If you like the idea of hosting your wedding in a small town in Northern California that’s just off-the-grid enough to feel totally charming, this could be your wedding spot.
