We love this stunning Cotswold stone barn conversion – it was once an old granary where barn owls came to roost. It has an absolutely idyllic setting in the Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve. There are 13 acres of shared grounds to explore with swings, play areas, picnic spots and walks. Keep your eyes peeled for an array of wildlife, from water voles to all sorts of birds. Inside, there are wood floors and beams, a wood burner and a vast kitchen diner, ideal for entertaining your family and friends. Whip up some hummus in the food processor in the kitchen for nibbles before dinner. For all your shopping needs, head to nearby Bampton (five miles away), where you'll also find the West Ox Arts Gallery. There are a couple of local pubs within three miles to sample, or Oxford is just over thirty minutes in the car.
