Lachania beach is a mere 150 metres away, so one minute you can be swimming laps in the pool, then padding barefoot to the soft sand and saline waters of the Aegean Sea. If you want to explore further afield, the charming town of Lindos is a half-hour drive, where donkeys still clop up and down the narrow streets.
