Venue Features

The scene:: Ballroom at Windsor is named after our Historic house on the property named "Windsor" which is on the Natrional Register of Historic Places. The venue is set on 13 beautiful acres and has been farmed for over 300 years. The farm started as a dairy farm and moved to a Christmas Tree Farm in the late 1980's when the property was subdivided into what you see today.

Each season provides a picturesque backdrop to create stunning wedding pictures.

We have lovingly restored the barn and modernized it to include heating and air as well as well appointed restrooms.
Design:: Throughout the wedding venue, there are custom features not found anywhere else, including many repurposed local historical architectual features. This makes us one of the most unique wedding venues in Delaware. We combine rustic country charm with a sophicated elegance that can be seen as you enter our beautiful climate controlled event space from our country porch.

Our floors in the Ballroom and Pub were milled from reclaimed 100+ year old beams from a local mill and are stunning. The custom bar in the Pub is also made from reclaimed wood and no other compares. Our large windows from the 1800's are from a building in Delaware City that bring in a ton of natural light.

Each of the main rooms has a custom Fireplace and use is included in the rental fee. The exclusive use of the farm property, use of the first floor of the venue, use of the private area on the second floor for your wedding party, wedding pavilion, cocktail hour pavilion, custom benches, tables and chairs are only a few of items included in the all day rental fee.

This unique property not only contains historical and repurposed elements, but it also includes modern amentities for you and your guests. We have everthing you love about a barn on the outside with everything you love about modern/elegant spaces on the inside.

Additionally, we take a personal approach to your wedding and only host one event a day. This provides you exclusive use of the venue and farm for your event and the personal attention you deserve.
