In 2013, Meredith left a corporate career in search of something more meaningful. Yearning to connect consumers back to their farmers, she started Autonomy Farms in her hometown of Bakersfield. Autonomy Farms is a steward of their land and practices non-GMO, regenerative farming. Our chickens and turkeys are free-range, pasture raised and these practices are led by our deeply held beliefs that regenerative farming is the future. Our ultimate goal is to reconnect the consumer to the farmer - the source of their food. By fostering direct relationships via CSA, farmer's markets, special events, and a strong presence in the community, we aim to ensure consumers have a vested interest in not only their food, but the health and environment in which their food was raised.
Because we're a real, working farm, our venue and grounds are as authentic and meaningful as they come. Graced with natural beauty, yet also landscaped with flexible event spaces, Autonomy Farms imbues your event with a genuine and rustic chic charm.
