A beautiful and historical venue . . .

The Historic Asheville Masonic Temple in beautiful downtown Asheville, NC has been in service to the community since 1915 and offers an extraordinary and unforgettable experience for your wedding or event.

This recently renovated building is Asheville's newest events venue. Each floor is uniquely laid out to provide an experience you will remember for a lifetime. This beautiful building can host up to 400 guests. Each floor is available individually for rental, or you may choose to rent the entire building.

The 3rd Floor of the Building Host:

The Main Theater provides a truly special and unique setting with elegant stage backdrops, which can create a truly memorable ceremony. There are 62 options of backdrops to select from when creating the scene for our wedding, event or theater production and seating capacity of 400.

The Noble Room also is the perfect space for a cocktail reception or small gathering, with a broad balcony view that offers a visual gateway to Asheville and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. The Noble Room is adjacent to the Theater which provides a easy transation into cocktail hour or a adjunct room for Theater Productions.

Bridal Bowery and Grooms Room are also located on this floor, providing you and your wedding party ample space for a large group. Or it also serves as a Green Room for those preformances that require a private area directly off the main stage. 

The 1st Floor Host: 

The Grand Foyer will provide your guests with a stunning entrance and can host a Cocktail Hour or Welcome Area that is truly captivating..
 
The Main Ballroom is an elegant dining space, that is open to your design and creativity. Capacity for this room is 400 and this room is the perfect setting for a formal dinner. The Asheville Masonic Temple also offers a fully equipped kitchen which your caterer will love. If you don't have a catering company in mind yet, then we have several that we can highly recommend.

Everything you need . . .

Your building rental provides you with tables, chairs and the added elegance of unique historical pieces. For your convenience, all rentals and av are handled by The Asheville Masonic Temple. You may provide your own alcohol with an approved permit. We do require a Wedding Planner for all Weddings and we have some amazing Planners in the area that we are happy to reccommend.

Venue Features
The Scene:
Upon entering the Historic Asheville Masonic Temple, you feel the elegance and history of the building. With a Grand Staircase to your right taking you through the building telling the history of the building, you never know who you might see on our walls, maybe a President. Leading you into the 3rd floor Theater. The Theater is Breathtaking and something that you have to incorporate into your wedding or event when seen.  

Most of our events will begin in the Foyer with a Welcome Reception and then invite guest to the 3rd floor Theater for a Ceremony with Cocktails off the Theater in our Noble Room letting your guest experience the whole building. After Cocktail your guest are invited down to the 1st Floor for Dinner, Dancing and Cake. We set the stage for a very formal and easy transisition for your event.  

Of course our builidng is designed to let you have room to get ready here as well for both the Bride and the Groom. Our Bridal Room is large enough for 20 people and the perfect place to have a Bridal Luncheon as you are getting ready for your big day.
