Venue Setting

The freshly renovated Anvil hotel breathes new life into the gateway corner of the town of Jackson. Its Alpine Modern sensibility brings a welcomed regional approach to design that is fitting of the rugged terrain and sensitive to the histories of the Teton territory. Chiefly impressive is our friendly atmosphere, which echoes the warmth of our new design. It’s casual but thoughtful and strikes a chord with locals and guests - a balance that gives a place that “at home” feeling, part of the Jackson community. The centerpieces of our renovation are our lobby and Glorietta, an Italian Trattoria surrounding a wood-burning grill which occupies the former restaurant, Nanis. It serves some of the best Italian food and beverages in town and is admittedly fun (sometimes a little raucous).

The rooms at the Anvil are streamlined but detailed, cosseting but highly functional. There’s a mountain-rustic vibe to the décor, from the high wainscoting to the iron beds. Look closely and you’ll notice thoughtful details – brass lighting fixtures, soft wool blankets (custom-designed by Woolrich), and leather-wrapped pegs for resting your skis or fishing rod. The hotel features 49 rooms located just one block off of Jackson's historic town square.

Design:

It took a dream team of artisans to construct our American West hotel room for the 21st-century traveler. From the custom iron beds to the handmade brass bathroom fixtures that set a vintage tone, no detail has been overlooked.

Standout venue features:
Wyoming Wednesday - local beverage tastings provided to all guests in the lobby everyone Wednesday during season. Live in the Lobby - live music each Friday in the lobby for hotel guests. Apres Ski/Adventure - adult hot coco in the winter and wine in the summer included in the afternoon for all hotel guests.
Extra perks:
Use of Glorietta Trattoria includes house tables, chairs, plate ware, linens and silverware.

An Italian Trattoria where the focus is handmade pasta and wood-fired cooking with expertly crafted cocktails and a value-oriented cellar of incredible Italian wines.

Glorietta is a balanced mix of warm, naturally-finished materials with simple tile surrounding a large wood-burning grill in the middle of the restaurant create a space that is tasteful but casual and fun. Our hearth is our heart.

The design reflects a menu that is expertly prepared without being fussy or pedantic. When possible, the menu folds in local ingredients to create curiously delicious meals all while paying homage to Italy.
