Find this brick-and-white-walled gem on a tree-lined street in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, located on the highest hill in the city. An original 1906 bungalow, the owners tailored the home to their own style—the salvaged wood flooring, firehouse doors, and trough-style sink are odes to the original character of the home, while the open-style layout is a modern addition.

Gorgeous, LIGHT FILLED, Newly Constructed Modern Farmhouse in THE BEST Location!

4 level home features 4,000 sq ft of living space with 6 bedrooms / 3.75 baths and up to 15 separate beds.

The first level of the main home features an open living area with formal living room, dining room, family room, spacious kitchen, half bath, coat closet, and large open hall with bench seating and cubbies for storage. The family room has a comfortable pull out sofa bed (full size bed). The kitchen features an oversized farmhouse style sink, 6 burner Bertazonni range, integrated 36" Liebherr fridge / freezer, dishwasher, coffeemaker, microwave, and convection oven.

The second level boasts 3 large bedrooms, the master has a queen bed and we can add in a pack and play for a baby or small child, the 2nd bedroom has a full size bed, the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds.

The 3rd level bedroom has a queen bed, and 2 sets of twin bunk beds, we can also add in a pack and play in either the open area or bedroom. The 3rd level also features a HUGE 133" projector screen with HD projector, a 50" tv, project table with seating for 8, plenty of entertaining and play space, and a bar area with small fridge and microwave.

The lower level MIL apt has a separate entrance and includes its own washer and dryer, it's own full kitchen, full bath, dining / living / office area and 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, and one bedroom has a full size bed. We can also add in an xl twin in the main living area and a pack and play as needed, but please be sure to request at least 3 days before your arrival.

The large, (by Seattle standards) 4,800 sq ft fully fenced yard contains a courtyard with outdoor dining area, grassy play space, a play structure with swings for children, bbq area, and 2 offstreet parking spaces off the alleyway.

Venue Features
The Scene:
Our property is located in Queen Anne -- Seattle's best and most picturesque neighborhood which has a strong small town neighborhood feel, yet is just a 5 minute drive to downtown. The home is on the crown of Queen Anne Hill on a quiet tree lined street designed by the Olmstead brothers as one of the neighborhoods first Avenue / Trolley Lines.
Design:
The original 1906 house was a small Craftsman Bungalow. We set out to add a 2nd story onto the original home, but once we had removed the roof, found that the framing just wasnt very plumb or strong enough to support the weight of the proposed addition, so we had to take the house down to the foundation and start from there.

We LOVE the details and character of old homes, so we set out to create a home that worked for our family with a modern / open layout, while retaining the feel of the original home. We used wideplank flooring throughout the home, and reused or salvaged many items such as the trough style sink in the 2nd level bathroom, and the firehouse doors throughout the home.

One of the only properties in Seattle which can comfortable sleep and accomodate up to 21 overnight guests. The home also boasts awesome private spaces + open areas to congregate with your group + outside garden spaces.

Large dining table which can be brought outside + chairs for 25 guests.

It has been used for production for commercials and advertisements by Norstrom, Microsoft, Zulily, T-Mobile, and My New Roots, as well as, featured on many popular Instagram accounts :)

We do not have any restaurants on site, but James Beard winning Macrina Bakery is just around the corner, and there are many many incredible dining options within walking distance on the Hill.
Bars & Lounges:
There is an amazing local dive bar owned by some friends of ours just around the corner, and many other great options on Queen Anne Ave (within walking distance) or take Uber on a 5 minute jaunt down the hill to Downtown Seattle.
