Our expansive Homestead Lawn is ideal for larger ceremonies and receptions set against the dramatic backdrop of the Absaroka Mountain Range. 

​For unique elopements, your officiant and your photographer can accompany you to a beautiful overlook on the property for a memorable vow exchange. Return to the Lodge for a private celebration dinner.

Family Reunions

Reunite with your nearest and dearest at our authentic Western homestead. After months of separation, a family reunion at 3 Spear Ranch makes spending time together that much more memorable. Embark on a family hike with a packed picnic lunch, venture out on a sunset horseback ride, savor rustic ranch cuisine in the Lodge, and sing songs together around a crackling bonfire beneath the stars.

The Warm Spring

With water temperatures reaching as high as 85 degrees, the Warm Spring at 3 Spear is the perfect way to enjoy a hot sunny day in relaxation.

Horseback Experiences
Reconnect with the spirit of the Old West. 3 Spear Owner Creed Garnick hails from one of the oldest ranching families in Wyoming. From childhood, his parents raised him to revere the transformative power of riding in wide open spaces and breathing fresh mountain air. Open year round, our equine experiences aim to connect guests with the true spirit of the West through immersive excursions that showcase the diverse topography and views of our 1,200 acres. Our expert wranglers can lead groups of up to 8 guests, ages 6 and up. Each private excursion is customized to your level of riding experience and comfort. Available all year.

​Hiking
Reconnect with the great outdoors. With over 1,200 acres of wild Wyoming terrain to discover, hiking experiences abound at 3 Spear Ranch. Independent travelers can take a trail map, a pair of binoculars and a packed picnic lunch before venturing on a self-guided excursion to our myriad of scenic lookout spots. Guests can also book a privately guided excursion with one of our in-house experts to learn about the property's fascinating history and ecosystem.

John Brunswick is world-renowned for his craftsmanship in billiard tables throughout the 1800's. Many of America's greatest minds spent their evenings leaning over a Brunswick table including Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Dwight D. Eisenhower. 3 Spear Ranch's original 1892 Brunswick table is an opportunity to step back in time and challenge opponents in a game of the Old West.
