Whatever setting it is you’re after, there’s likely a wedding venue tucked somewhere in the mix. There’s a century-old pharmacy that sets an ideal backdrop for a vintage-style wedding. There’s a cypress tree lined creek with something akin to a summer camp set just beside it. There’s an imported French Colonial chapel in the hills. There’s even a yacht club in Hill Country. You name it, we’ve found it. And today, we’re sharing our favorite finds of the area.

You can get married under an oak grove or in an antique French gazebo at Ma Maison in Dripping Springs. Follow that with cocktails on the expansive grounds and dinner and dancing in the great hall with tall ceilings and crystal chandeliers, and you’ve got yourself an elegant evening everyone will remember.
The modern architectural space at Prospect House is surrounded by acres of native prairie grasses and trees. Located just 25 minutes from downtown ATX, this Dripping Springs wedding venue offers plenty of options both indoors and out for events of up to 275 guests.
Located on Main Street in Buda, Carrington Crossing is a hundred-year-old pharmacy that’s now used as a wedding and events space. There’s an overgrown English Garden right outside, with a courtyard large enough for a wedding of up to 170 guests. Inside you’ll find a ballroom that’s time-worn in the best ways, with exposed brick and aged walls, pressed tin ceilings and hardwood floors.
Looking for a venue that feels like summer camp for your guests? Check out Camp Comfort, a self-hosted bed and breakfast in Comfort, Texas. This spot dates back to 1870, and was once a social gathering place for locals. Today, there’s a courtyard, a social hall, a creek lined with Cypress trees and a collection of rustic cabins.
Ancient oak trees create a ceremony canopy over a stone terrace courtyard at Camp Lucy while an imported French Colonial chapel and an events hall serve as reception spaces. Prefer to dine outdoors? There’s plenty of space on the lawns for a sailcloth tent too.
Struggling with the debate between cool industrial urban venue and beautiful Hill Country location? Struggle no more, as The Plant at Kyle is the ideal combo of both. Set just 30 miles from Austin, this modern ranch combines indoor and outdoor scenery with towering steel-and-stone structures on 17 acres of countryside.
This centuries-old farm sits right along the banks of the Guadalupe River and is home to a couple of rustic barns, one of which is open-air to take in that beautiful evening breeze. For a timeless countryside wedding of up to 500 guests, Cherokee Rose should certainly be on your list.
Located in the heart of Georgetown, The Union on Eighth is just 20 minutes north of Austin. The industrial warehouse building is flooded with natural light and opens right up to a lovely courtyard. The wood-lined interiors work well for weddings of up to 225 guests.

Towering oak trees line the hills outside while the interior space at Ivory Oak is modern and airy, bright and full of light. Exchange your vows under a beautiful, old oak tree before retreating to the Spanish-style hacienda or the rustic barn with huge windows for your reception. Memory Lane Event Center can host events of up to 250 guests and there’s lodging for up to 15 overnight guests to stay on-site.
This Hill Country retreat has 22 lodge rooms that make the place feel like a vintage summer camp. For weddings, there’s a gorgeous limestone space that suits a seated reception of up to 170 guests, and if you’ve got a larger crowd, the outdoor space works well for up to 300 guests.
Dotted across the rolling green pastures of Gruene Estate are an open-air ceremony space with beautiful stained glass windows, a 19th-century homestead and a rustic open-air pavilion. Here, you can host a wedding with up to 200 guests and about a dozen of those guests can stay overnight.
Horses, sheep and miniature donkeys graze on the surrounding pastures at this sprawling Hill Country ranch. For weddings, there’s a flagstone-paved terrace on the banks of the Pedernales River and a Ponderosa Pine barn with towering ceilings and lots of windows.
Wait a sec. A yacht club in Hill Country? Yep, that’s a thing. Set on the hillside overlooking Lake Travis, Rough Hollow Yacht Club stretches along the waterfront and groves of trees. The ceremony and reception space is a tall structure of stone with big arched windows and wood beam ceilings. Weddings of up to 500 guests can be accommodated here.
Old Glory Ranch offers multiple ceremony setups on the banks of the Blanco River as well as designated spaces for lawn games and an indoor chapel hall that’s great for dinner and dancing. Hot tip: ask about the miniature donkeys!
