Whether nestled in the rainforests of the Amazon or towering in the palm groves of Mexico, a treehouse is nearly always a thing to behold. While they may cue up nostalgia for some, treehouses inspire us to get outdoors and go on a great adventure. Put simply, the stillness and connection to nature you feel while relaxing in the treetops is unlike any other experience. So, here are a few of our favorite treehouse getaways lighting up the 2018 radar around the world. See you out there!

The beauty of Zambia is best experienced from a perch above the banks of the Zambezi River. Tongabezi Tree House offers such a perch, with panoramic views of the scenery and the cushy comforts of home.
