Festival season is nearly upon us and we can’t wait to spend our days soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the outdoors and getting in some quality time with friends. But why should those experiences be limited to giant music festivals when you can transform your wedding into a similar setup? From weddings inspired by Burning Man to one couple’s Wedding ‘Cella, this is one wedding trend we hope to see more of this spring.

Tipis, olive groves and art installations set the scene for this Boho wedding fête. The glowing couple invited 450 of their nearest and dearest to an olive grove outside Tel Aviv for an all-night festival celebrating their love.
Inspired by nomads and gypsies alike, this elopement photo shoot comes our way from the back roads of Munich and has a real festival-inspired vibe. These photos are proof that you can head out to the countryside with a lot of bohemian accessories and pop-up a gorgeous soiree with camels and everything.
This wedding, hosted at the Fire Garden in Bonsall, was inspired by the couples’ love of Burning Man. The gardens are filled with fire sculptures and art, bringing that firey Burning Man vibe to light up their wedding day.
Destination weddings always have a sort of festival feel about them, but this Puerto Vallarta wedding with 24/7 margaritas and private catamaran snorkeling and whale watching tours takes the cake for a fiesta of epic proportion. ¡Viva México!
Dubbed Wedding ‘Chella, this three-day extravaganza of live music, food, parties, DJ sets, yoga, and glamping also included a wedding. Set at Under Canvas in Moab, the scene was stunning, rugged and desolate but with luxurious amenities to make this festival feel more like a retreat.
Set along the Arabian Sea, Nilayan Hermitage provided the backdrop for this colorful, joyous 3-day wedding inspired by India’s rich wedding traditions. Bollywood films, a Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club theme, a custom painted tuk-tuk, vibrant turbans, and delicious food were just a handful of highlights guests enjoyed.
This couple took 30 of their closest friends and family to Dar Al Hossoun for a long weekend of desert exploration with a ‘round-the-clock festival feel. Set in an ancient olive grove, this modern hideaway has lush gardens, fields full of palm trees and a swimming pool where guests spent much of their days together.
Three days in the desert may sound like a lot, but that time flies when you’re exploring the pyramids of Cairo and old Bedouin villages with your closest friends and family. This international couple hosted their Egyptian wedding fête over a few days, celebrating with both their German and Egyptian families alike.
Inspired by their honeymoon destination, Burning Man, this couple aimed to set up a glamping village for their wedding guests. Using tents from Scout and the farmhouse and cabins at California Ranch Events, the glamping haven provided an awesome party spot for a long wedding weekend.
