Status: currently crushing on Toronto, and crushing hard, y’all. The scene at Oretta isn’t just gorgeous to look at, it has all the vibes of a spot straight out of Milano. With a towering Art Deco space flooded with color and texture, and a menu full of classic Italian fare and all the carbs you can handle, this spot has #brunchbucketlist drawn all over its glossy walls.

The Scene
When pink is your neutral color of choice, you know it’s a recipe for design success. Oretta’s hues vary from shades of pinks, blues and yellows to pops of brass and marble (and yes, marble is totally a color). With huge windows overlooking the city streets, a wraparound marble bar and tons of Art Deco architectural details, this hotspot looks like a place you’d spot in the design district of Milan.

The Eats
Traditional Italian eats are the star of the show at Oretta. For brunch, think pizzas with truffle cream or fior di latte, potato, pancetta, pecorino, rosemary, and fried eggs. How’s that for #bucketlist worthy?! Got a sweet tooth in the morning? The pancakes with mascarpone and pear jam are baller. Wash it down with a cioccolaccino or a cocktail with Prosecco, Cocchi Rosa and infused strawberries. Cheers to living your best life!

The Locale
As is fitting with these gorgeous interiors, Oretta sits in the Fashion District of Toronto. Walkable to the city’s best shopping and the nearby Entertainment District, this brunch spot is in the mix of all things abuzz. Treat yourself to a stay at the nearby SOHO House and you’ll be kicking all your 2018 goals of being surrounded by beauty and luxury in no time at all.
