We love a good party setup more than you can imagine, and the photos from this iridescent evening are giving us all the New Year’s Eve inspiration. From the sequin dresses to the deconstructed party tables to the festive champagne towers and giant disco balls, we are seriously feeling the good vibes from this stellar setup. You had our attention at sequin backdrops and floral coupe cocktails.

We recently caught up with stylist and hostess Rachel Lunghi from Lace and Likes and got all the details on how she set up an unforgettably shimmering evening. Here’s the 411.

Tell us a little about the inspiration behind the party.

One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is that it’s the perfect excuse for gathering with the people I love. This holiday season, a few of us gals thought it would be fun to get a bunch of our girlfriends together to get festive in the best way we know how—with lots of glitter and Champagne! Luckily, our girls were happy to comply with our sparkly dress code and let loose with some Champagne and glitter bombs.

How did you make sure your guests would have a great time?

Our goal with this party was to have an excuse to get dressed up in an environment that didn’t feel so overly formal that the ladies couldn’t let loose and have some fun. We made sure the Justin Bieber jams were pumping to get the dance party going before dinner even started.

Any tips for those who want to plan a fun holiday gathering?

Honestly, I think when it comes to the holidays and seasonal décor, more is more. And when you just have fun with it, things come together beautifully on their own. So, let your hair down, deconstruct that table and dance to NSYNC’s holiday album with glitter and Champagne in hand!
