Newsflash! Everybody’s favorite mid-century inspired furniture shop has opened up a holiday rental house in Palm Springs. That’s right, West Elm has decked out this 1950s “Alexander” pool house with all their own fittings and set up a 3-bedroom spot with the best of style. Whether you’re looking for a house worthy of a Slim Aarons inspired photo shoot, or a place to get together with a few of your best holiday-loving babes, the West Elm House is so on-trend right now.

West Elm’s Design Thumbprint
Set in the Little Beverly Hills neighborhood of Palm Springs, this Alexander Construction Co. home is a relic of its time. With an open floor plan, tons of sunlight, and an epic swimming pool, it’d be hard to hate on this iconic 1950s slice of paradise. The design crew from West Elm updated the space to suit 21st century design trends by decorating the interiors with a crisp color palette, sharp-lined furniture, and plenty of mid-century inspired pieces and accessories.
What You See is What You Can Get
Best thing about the design of this vacation home? Nearly everything you see inside is for sale. Wait! Don’t go snatching art off the walls. Get in line for all your décor at a West Elm shop or shop online. Trust us, it’s better that way.
More Than Just A Pool Party
Look, we live for a good pool party. Toss in some inflatable pizza slices and we’re all on deck. But, there’s more to this house than a pool. You can sleep about six people in this humble abode, with the option to bring in a private chef, daily house cleaning service, a poolside masseuse, and to have a fully stocked fridge. There are disco lights in the pool, BTW.
Living The Good Life in Palm Springs
And for those of you who plan to ever leave the grounds, which we’re not really sure why you’d do that, there’s plenty to keep you occupied in Palm Springs. Some of our favorite spots for a drink are The Amigo Room at the ACE Hotel, Norma’s at The Parker, and the pool bar at the Saguaro. As for outdoor exploration, the Moorten Botanical Garden and Cactarium is DOPE. And if you’ve got a trip to Joshua Tree in ya, you absolutely won’t regret trekking out to the national park to see the Cholla Cactus Garden or scope out the Mojave Desert.
