We love and know Sonix as the uber cute, kitschy iphone case and accessory website... But what happens when they round up their squad of like-minded friends? Pop-up magic - that's what! Amongst the Sonix's product on Melrose is brands Ivy Kirzhner, Gorjana Jewelry, Emm Kuo, Bite Beauty and Stone Fox Swim. If the curated brand line-up isn't enough, the design team behind this pop-up made the entire space an instagrammable moment complete with a cherry blossom tree and swing dead-center in the middle of the shop and trending blush tones covering every wall. Sold? We thought so.
This pop-up is only lasting one more weekend so don't miss out. Shop the latest Spring ’17 collection at their exclusive FIRST EVER pop-up shop at 8017 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles 90046. Delivering up the details and dates behind this grand idea is Creative Director, Jillian Wheeler + PR Manager, Mallory Molinski.

Tell us about the new Sonix space.
"The theme of the space is “The Future is Female.” I wanted the interior to celebrate femininity and make an impactful statement at the same time. I was inspired by the Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom) season, as it’s a celebration of beauty and the turn of a new season. The cherry blossom tree is able to set a whimsical tone for the space. I also wanted to add a swing to make the space inviting and interactive.” - Sonix Creative Director, Jillian Wheeler.
How long will this Pop-up be living on Melrose?
The space opened on March 23rd, and is open until Sunday, April 2nd. Hours are 11am-7pm.
What does your new brick and mortar space offer?
Our storefront is a one stop shop for women in the community to find everything they need, from beauty and clothing, to sunglasses and swim. The space was designed to bring together female driven brands, and provide them the opportunity to support one another while showcasing their newest collections to the public. With mauve pink walls, a cherry blossom tree and swing, we are a very “instagrammable” LA destination.
Who designed your space?
Our Creative Director, Jillian Wheeler.
