In the middle of a gorgeous meadow, just 90 minutes outside Chicago, sits this beautifully rustic 19th century barn. Inside, sunlight peeks through the mile-high slatted rooftop and onto the massive old wood beam supports below. It’s the kind of setting where celebrating comes easily, where wine seems abundant, and where dancing should be a requirement.
This countryside venue is as romantic as it is rustic, with the option of getting married under a magnificent old tree or opting for the backdrop of vineyards or grassy meadows. A cool cocktail hour could take place out on the lawns, or you can set out some cute lounge vignettes and cozy up to the big ole barn’s giant front porch. Dinner and dancing in the barn easily fits about 150 guests, and we highly recommend choosing your guests based on their ability to dance in cowboy boots.

And we must admit, we are collectively D-Y-I-N-G over these florals as much as the photos!

What have been some of the highlights of your experiences at the venue?
What I love most about Hidden Vineyard is the property offers many locations within itself. There is no lack of variety for portraits whatsoever!
Tell us about the venue in general?
Hidden Vineyard in Berrien Springs, MI is a fairly new venue however it has become extremely popular over the last year. One of the most unique elements on the property is the historic tree which makes for the most lovely of ceremony locations.
What made the venue a great backdrop and setting for photos?
As a photographer one of the best parts of this venue is that it can accommodate your entire wedding day from start to finish. There is more than enough space for everything to take place which eliminates the sometimes tricky task of traveling from one spot to another on wedding days.
Favorite existing design elements of the venue?
The barn is one of my favorite spots. Hidden Vineyard is very great to work with and they allow their clients to use the barn as a blank canvas, adding touches that are a true reflection to the couple using it.
Did you meet anyone at the venue that you connected with or made a lasting impression?
The entire staff at Hidden Vineyard is kind, soft spoken and fantastic to work with.
