The Report
New Venue Alert! Welcome to Hotel B, a historic national monument and restored mansion reflecting the glamour of the 20's. This arts-boutique hotel is in the heart of a bohemian revival neighborhood surrounded by art galleries and only blocks from the Pacific ocean. The hotel houses it's own art collection and is directly linked to the Lucia de la Puente Gallery. The House is a pristine example of a Belle Époque mansion, originally constructed in 1914 and built as a summer seaside retreat. Thus it captures the celebratory spirit of the 1920s. So Gatsby lovers rejoice, because this venue is for you!
The team who reconstructed the property was composed of sculptors from the Fine Arts Academy and a team of carpenters led by an Italian master woodcrafter. The project is considered a trademark of restoration by the INC (Peru ́s Historic Building Society). The interior has the feeling of restored Grand Dame with a cheeky twist, integrating vintage and designer furniture with a unique art collection. The hotel is set with soft seaside colors, grand windows, and tall ceilings.
