When we say, "We've been dreaming of this for a while,” boy, do we mean it. In early 2016, our office got a new nickname, The Greenhouse on 2nd, as our office space housed not only us humans but a variety of plants lives as well. Cacti staked their claim, vines overwhelmed the ceiling and us - well, we were all heart-eyed at the view around us. As the team grew so did our greenery collection and smorgasbord of disco balls. So why not combine the two for an epic end of the year bash, right?!
The Jungle Disco theme was set, but as planning progressed we found ourselves getting even more inspired by new beginnings, good fortune and looking forward to all that 2017 has to offer. The mystical feels spoke to our creative teams' nomadic souls and Gypsy Jungle Disco was created. After months of building up this idea, this pre-meditated party truly deserved the royal treatment so we brought in A MIHO Experience and Barcon for food and cocktails. To round out the theme, we partnered with local San Deigans and good friends Pow Wow Design Studio and Hostess Haven for magical decor and tableware. Lastly, additional greenery and florals were brought in, Eucca was a girl. Let the party begin! Welcome to our Gypsy Jungle Disco dream.

DECOR TIPS
- When it comes to plants and disco balls, more is more and DON'T. We Repeat. DON'T rent either for any event. Cost is pretty much identical and in the end you'll be able to dress up your pad to last all year long.
- Create a fun name for each cocktail that matches the theme of the event. For us, we had a blast sipping on The Fortune Teller, Rainforest Canopy and Dance Dance Disco.
- Home Depot is your friend. Before you purchase any backdrop online or in stores head to your local Home Depot and browse their carpet isle. Our 24 ft. gorgeous emerald green backdrop is in fact, for lack of better words, that golfing carpet for your backyard, cost $50 and is reusable. You can't beat that folks. Slab some fabric paint on it and you got yourself another successful backdrop.
