Every year, around the end of January / beginning of February the same thoughts dance around in our head. "What to get? What to make? How do I top last year?" Love it, hate it, celebrate it with irony or the utmost respect, the day of chocolates and roses is here… or is it? The way to your S.O.’s or galentine’s heart this year isn’t going to be through overdone cliches but something more subdued, heartfelt, and totally crafty.

PIZZA MY HEART

Step 1: Pick your crust! We chose a shiny copper for an extra pop. 
Step 2: Pick your toppings. Pepperoni is a must. For the best heart results, fold red paper in half and cut a half heart on the crease. 
Step 3: Extra cheese, please! Sprinkle on some silver confetti for some extra shine. We used just a dab of clear super glue. 
Step 4: Add a cute saying and some words from the heart. We felt this went perfectly, "Real love is... Knowing all my fav toppings." 

ELVIS PELVIS

Step 1: Trace your ideal disco fever photo and cut away!
Step 2: Pick out a fun paper to paste over - We chose this gorge golden marble. 
Step 3: Did you have any extra heart pepperoni's? Sprinkle it on! 
Step 4: Add text! We love, "Forever... My dance partner." 
 

SHAKE YOUR POM POM 

Step 1: You'll need to round up some pom poms + a gold metallic pen / white paint pen
Step 2: Sketch that figure out, girl! 
Step 3: Hot glue on your pom poms (I know we kinda laughed too! lol) 
Step 4: Add text! This seems appropriate, "If you turn that music up... I promise to shake this pom pom ." 

Final Step? Tape those cute cards you just created to the bathroom mirror, his car window or your bedroom door. Oh.... and get ready to get smothered in kisses. You soulmate, you!
