As we drove up the winding dirt road spotted with exotic desert vegetation, we were in awe of the vast variety of scenic beauty leading up to this spectacular hotel that perfectly fuzes luxury with landscape. If you are planning a getaway or event but cannot decide between a vineyard, ocean, orchard or desert setting, fear not. You can have it all here. Whether you are in search of a lazy, breezy vibe or something more adventurous, you will love Cabanas Cuatro Cuatros. The cabanas are both comfy and luxe for relaxation, but you can also partake in wine tasting, skydiving, off-roading, scuba-diving, fishing, golfing, shopping and more.
Cabanas Cuatro Cuatros is a settlement of 12 luxury tents nestled within vineyards and mountains overlooking the sea. This spectacular location has majestic scenery including desert landscape, sprawling ocean, olive orchards, flora, fauna and wildlife. Although the atmosphere is rural, it is chock full of cosmopolitan features; a spa, swimming pool, restaurant, air conditioning, mini bar, fireplaces, and luxury beds.
HOW WILL MY GUESTS GET HERE?:The closest airport its at Tijuana B.C; from here you can get a bus to Ensenada, or the hotel can pick you up at the airport. Cuatrocuatros is located in the city of Ensenada, Baja California, in front of the el Tigre area, just 13 km away from Ensenada port in the Pacific Ocean. About 2 hours drive from San Diego, and less than that from Tijuana and only 30km from Valle de Guadalupe.

Event Ideas. Danielle told us that they typically do weddings and ceremonies at the Ocean View Point venue space. The Boat venue is ideal for cocktails, or the dining area for a celebration. The Winery venue space is recommended as a location for wedding receptions, dinner parties, or dancing. Danielle also recommends using Laja Cocina to cater your event.

Bonus
One of the main attractions of Cabanas Cuatro Cuatros is the vineyards. The venue is also ideal for an array of celebratory occasions. You can host the wedding of your dreams, relax at the spa before and after your event. You and your friends/family can take over all 12 tents for birthday parties, reunions, gatherings and more. Enjoy long walks around the vineyards, take some horses to scope out the place, and drink delicious wine at the ocean view point.
Pillow Talk. Sleeping in the luxury cabin tents will feel like you are camping on the ocean. Cabanas Cuatro Cuatros was designed by architect, Mauricio Rocha utilizing a fusion of wood, cotton and steel. The twelve luxury tents were installed with all the facilities you could ask for: air conditioning, mini bar, fireplace, luxury queen or king sized beds, 100% natural bathing lotions and a beautiful terrace with prime views of the vineyards. In order to enjoy mother nature to the fullest, all cabanas have been elevated so you can truly enjoy the view from your private terrace.
Cabanas Cuatro Cuatros is stunning in it's architectural simplicity and setting. Throwing an event here would be all about embracing the local Ensenada Culture and handicrafts.
1. Exotic Desert Vegetation: The setting of the venue calls for invitations that are both timeless and set the tone for the desert soiree. We love these invitations with a color palette of blues, greens, yellows and a pop of orange via Oh So Beautiful Paper. 2. Kumiai Weaving: Incorporate Kumiai weaving and pottery into your tables. Kumiai are one of Baja California’s indigenous peoples known for fine craftwork, particularly Kumiai weaving. (photo via carem.org) 3. Neutral Palette with pops of blue: The desert sands should be your base for a neutral palette. Throw local Mexican blankets over chairs for a pop of color and incorporate iron candles that can be found in many local shops. (Photo Jose Villa; Design by Mindy Rice + Lisa Vorce)
