Designed by its owner, Nicole Manfron, La Maison features design eye candy at every turn. With an old-world Marrakech feel that displays local artisan work in everything from woven baskets and antique pottery to the beautiful rugs and textiles, this three-bedroom guesthouse will have you feeling worlds away from home the moment you arrive. There’s a bed on the rooftop terrace so you can soak up the evening stars, there’s a plunge pool for an afternoon cool-down session, there’s an outdoor shower and the interior balcony that wraps around the guesthouse has that classic Moroccan feel.

Located in the eastern section of the medina, La Maison is in the middle of the action. It’s a quick fifteen-minute walk to the main square, where you’ll find a maze of souks and street markets. Nearby you’ll find the Museum of Photography, the Museum of Marrakech and Bahia Palace. La Maison isn’t your classic guesthouse in the sense of having round-the-clock service, but the local caretaker is one who will make you feel welcome in this peaceful little manse, cooking daytime meals and offering tea when you may be in need of a pick-me-up.
