Halloween can get so darn tricky. Not in the typical trick-or-treat kind of way, but in the 'how to decorate' kind of way. It can be so hard to make cobwebs look cool, and do a unique spin on pumpkins that you haven't seen on Pinterest a million times. But leave it to the team at Patina Rentals to craft the chicest Halloween setup ever. The only thing it's missing? Our fave 'Addams Family' character, Wednesday Addams AKA Christina Ricci. She is the best goth gal around and would surely be our dream guest of honor at this creepy affair.

We LOVE Halloween here at Patina. Let me tell you, Halloween in Bushwick is a trip! People are super creative here with their hand made costumes and the parties are out of this world amazing!  This year with a deranged scientist in mind, we transformed our back corner into a spookily disturbed gents’ office.

For this look we built a room using a bunch of our shelving units, locker units and two sections of the horse stable walls. Filled up the shelves with a ton of books, science flasks, birdcages and all the lanterns +candelabras we have. Hung a couple gent photos and put Ernie the bear in the entrance.

Deer Abbey + Tupac also made it in to the room by setting them up on the floor around the room. We used our new factory table as the desk that paired well with one of our  hitchcock chairs. A brand new black chair rolled into the studio the day of the shoot which had the perfect look for this halloween set, so we rolled it right in and threw our gold skull on top with a pair of ram antlers.  

We filled the science flasks with faux blood + placed a bunch of faux crows around to give it that eerie Edgar Allen Poe feel. I sure wouldn’t mind an office made up of shelving units! We loved this so much it became our office for the rest of the week, hence where I wrote this blog entry!! Mwa ha ha ha ha!
