Venue Features
The Scene:
As the sun rises over this southern landscape, the morning mist fades to reveal one of West Georgia’s hidden treasures, Sweet Meadow – a farm at Beech Creek. Slow country roads, beautiful Willow trees and gardens full of perennials will great you and your guests. Wide open fields and stunning views will have you in awe and relaxed. We call our signature Southern approach to weddings the “Slow Wedding Movement.” The authentic barn is a beautiful backdrop and event space adding charm to our lovely setting.
Design:
Our venue allows for many wedding styles while still embracing nature. The design is beautifully simplistic allowing just enough to show off and allow your style to shine. A large inventory of decor ranging from natural to modern allows our guests to really show off their style. The grooms suite is decorated in true gentleman's style. The bridal suite is stunning, with elegant and neutral furnishings.
Standout Venue Features:
Embracing the "Slow Wedding Movement" we only book one event per weekend. This allows the DIY bride, vendors and families to truly enjoy the moments. Included in the cost of the venue are several bonuses. We include an event staff and day of coordinator so that our relaxing, southern approach to weddings shines through from start to finish.
Extra Perks:
Tables, linens, chairs, ceremony seating, decor items, event staff, and much more!

Sweet Meadow Farm and HomePlace

1115 Beech Creek Road, Tallapoosa, Georgia, United States

When a fashion blogger and a southern gentleman get hitched, there's a lot of ground to cover. The wedding day should be rustic, yet stylish; gorgeous, yet not overdone. Luckily, and unsurprisingly, Jess and Dustin nailed it. The best example of the lovebirds keenly strutting such a balancing act had to be the bride rocking a Jenny Packham gown with converse high-tops.

What made the special day so memorable, however, aside from the couple's favorite human beings in the world being there to cheer and congratulate, was the venue itself. A sweetly southern farm that covers 160 acres of Georgia woodland, sprinkled with meadows and ponds, Sweet Meadow Farms stirred up the impression that Jess and Dustin were tying the knot at a beloved relative’s country home.
