The staff were exceptional. Jack the owner went above a beyond . He was so friendly and helpful. The common area were absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was amazing.

The morning breakfast was excellent, as is the outdoor patio area it is served in. The Spanish/Argentinian host, Jackie, is exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
My room did not have a comfortable chair or desk, but no place I visited in Sri Lanka did.

The bathroom was shocking. Shower & toilet were on the same level. The water from the shower would soak the whole bathroom. I feel it should be improved.

Very basic room, no table, no hangers, no chair. Could have a more comfortable area to sit out in the garden. No response when we asked help for a transfer. Quite a long walk from the beach where you can swim but 7 minutes walk from the surfing spot. Run more like a bnb than a guesthouse.
Nice guest house 5 mins walk from Mirissa beach in a good location. Run by a very friendly Spanish host. Breakfast was fruit with oats and coconut milk followed by avocado on toast with a choice of eggs, both delicious. This is served in a separate bar area near the property entrance, they also served drinks and excellent burgers / food some nights (no issue with noise as rooms set further back). ...
We switched rooms on arrival as the first had an outside shower and toilet/sink in separate room …not ideal if you want to pee in the night! Although the romantic idea of an outside shower may appeal to others 😁 The bathroom was a wet room with the shower situated right in front of the door, poor positioning. There was also two showers! It was our favorite stay while traveling in Sri Lanka. We booked as a base to leave our luggage and then took short trips to other cities. And after traveling and getting back to Jackie's, it was like coming back home. Jackie is an amazing host, with a big heart, welcoming and friendly, always ensuring everyone is ok. The location is very good - we felt safe, the beach is close (5min by foot), the main road with shops and restaurants are close by too and it was stil calm. Jackie is a bit special but in a positive manner. :-) The breakfast was tasty. It could be a little more cleaner (e.g. the yoga mattes or the sun bed in the garden), but overall the cleaness especially in the room was okay.Read more

Jackie's place is a tranquil oasis ideally located for the beach and many great restaurants in Mirissa. Our room was very comfortable, and the shared spaces, including the garden, yoga deck, and breakfast area were absolutely lovely. Jackie and his team were so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel at home.
I can't think of anything that could have been better.
