We had a nice stay at Kanra Kyoto. Good location at a walking distance from the station and lots of restaurants nearby We had a room in the front building which was very nice but pretty small if you consider to add an extra bed. We asked to remove the extra bed and shared the 2 futon beds with our son since with a third bed and a couple of luggages the space to move around the room would have been...
Only a couple of things I would improve : I am sorry to say that the pillows were smelly so I would suggest to change and clean not only the upper cover but the whole pillow I personally consider the price for breakfast bit too expensive ( about 25 euros )Read more

Same comment I made when we stayed here 5 years ago, provide more English speaking TV channels.
Serene vibrancy, and the comfort and spaciousness in the room.
The experience was excellent in all way and exceeded our expectations. The suite was even better in real than online pictures show. Staff were excellent. Restaurant (teppanyaki) was very good.

Staff were great, room was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the bathtub and waterfall shower and the tatami lounge area. The lounge in the reception area was great with snacks and drinks available.
Would have been good to have a coin laundry facility on site as an alternative to the laundry service.
Great location, the bath was extremely comfortable and relaxing. The free drinks at the lobby were also a great treat! Would definitely stay again!

loved the hotel, staff were great, facilities were amazing, rooms were big and comfortable. highly recommend it to anyone going to Kyoto.

The bar that we loved in the lobby is gone. Room Needs some updating, deep cleaning. Bathroom was MUCH smaller than pictured .
