Lovely staff, great bar and restaurant.
We were not given enough paper products in our room so had to request more. Outside was VERY loud on the weekends and made it hard to sleep.
The restaurant was super good.
The location was great. We walked in all directions. Great shopping, restaurants, theater, museums, people watching, easy access to Manhattan and Queens and other parts of Brooklyn (subway, ferry, Uber).
The room rates are very high.
The room is big, clean, comfortable, and has good taste. The floor is warm! This is amazing!

great location, had a spacious room, booked a Manhattan view room, which didn't disappoint
Temperature control in the room was tricky. Either too hot or to cool the room the aircon was loud. There was a club to the side and below the room, which was a bit noisy (but it stopped at 10pm)
Staff at the reception were amazing, nicer to me than my own family. They made us feel so special, like we were VIP's. Love the decor and tone of voice of your graphics/decor etc. It feels like coming home its just the coolest! Well done we just loved it so much! x
In the Blonde bar there was a really miserable young girl working behind the bar on 20/2/25 with dark long hair who ruined our vibe. She looked so bored of life and like she might pass out with boredom of working there! We are trying to forget her! We left very quickly, a shame.
This was my second time staying here as I fell in love with the hotel the first time, so I had to come back. The view was still just as beautiful, the bed still comfy, the underfloor heating delightful, and the shower still really relaxing and refreshing. Gave us free drink tokens to grab one at the bar on the 6th floor lovely view!
Being that this hotel has a higher price tag, I would expect everything to be on point. The decor in the room is a bit mismatched, and some of the items like the bedside table and desk chair aren't good quality. Also some of the tiles in the bathroom need replacing. The size of the room, the view of the Manhattan skyline and the bed was very comfortable. Location is good as you are near a couple of subway stations so even though you’re not on Manhattan, you can easily get about! Plus the restaurant is yummy! We had one dinner and a breakfast, I highly recommend eating there.
The room was a touch on the cold side and you couldn’t change it in the room. Reception did change it on request but the following day it would reset again. The hotel had an event on the day we left so we couldn’t really be on the hotel which was a minor inconvenience but had we known in advance we’d have planned our day differently.
Beautiful hotel. This is what I loved: 1. Interior design: this is a design hotel, didn't feel like a "business hotel". We were on vacation and actually felt like we were on vacation. Not much! - The shades didn't work properly in our room, which was annoying but probably not a regular occurrence. - The hairdryer isn't good. A more powerful hairdryer would make a difference. - Modern hotels like this one should have the TV already hooked up for you to watch your Netflix on it.
