Location is wonderful. very close to many restaurants as well as to beautiful walks. Hotel building is unique with a 'character' and room was cozy and fitted very well for 3 of us. Loved the free tea and coffee at the lobby and afternoon snacks. Great breakfast and were flexible with our special requests. Convenient parking near hotel.
There was no elevator. was difficult carrying luggage to our room.
Location was wonderful, just a few blocks from the Commons, and the innkeeper was very accommodating, allowing us to park our car in the lot after we checked out. A beautiful historic house with updated bathrooms, very clean and thoughtful guest amenities like coffee, tea and snacks. Breakfast was good and nicely served.
Our only concern was a window air conditioner loud enough to keep me up at night - and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off.
great location - neat clean and efficient place
too pricey. skeleton staff
Nice old hotel. Very classic and fancy
No elevator
The full breakfast provided each day during our stay was excellent. The accommodations were comfortable, roomy and charming. The hosts are welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay
our only concern was the challenge in bringing our luggage up one flight of stairs.
Charming and beautifully maintained main building. An abundance of thoughtful touches like a great tea selection, important for this tea drinker! They went out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions and the breakfast was so delicious.
The air conditioning was not great—it was only in one room of the two-room suite. We just left the door open between the two rooms, which luckily was no problem in our situation, but it was hard to get it cold enough for some of the guests.
What a lovely place. Our rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Linens were luxurious and cozy, slept very well. The breakfast served every morning was so delicious. The evening treats were so tempting and tasty!
Window mounted air conditioner was loud. Had trouble with t.v. - staff helped rectify the problem promptly.
Charming, friendly no-nonsense place. I liked the absence of a TV in the room.
The main bed was a little too hard and the fold-out couch mattress was too flimsy. The room in the photo when OI booked had a single bed with an iron bedstead not a foldout couch. There was a lot of street noise and construction noise outside the window.
