This was self catering tucked away in a quiet village. There is a small shop in the village, but you would need to go further afield to shop for other things.
Having stayed in Corful several times, it was the most pleasant country house. The courtyard has a shaded terrace with spectacular views. The cottage is very spacious, it is nice to be on the ground floor even on a hot day. The cottage was absolutely fantastic. It’s just as good as the pictures look! The cottage has been tastefully renovated and decorated while keeping many of the old historic features. The outside terrace is wonderful and has great views. It’s very peaceful and quiet. Nothing I didn’t like but a warning that you will want to have a car or motorbike if you want to visit other parts of the island.Read more
Excellent combination of historic house and modern design and equipment. Great location with a bit away from touristic hassle. Own transport is needed, of course. Nice terrace for evening chats.

The house was well equipped with a full range of modern appliances and aircon in the kitchen/dining area and the upstairs bedrooms. The house was nicely decorated and their was comfortable seating in the sitting/tv room. The patio had views across the valley and you could see Corfu then in the distance it was equipped with two sun loungers, a weber BBQ and a large outdoor table.
One small challenge was accessing the property by car initially we tried driving all they way up and the narrow lane was very difficult to navigate and turn around in. Once settled the local car park had available spaces and was only a short walk from the house. We would have preferred dedicated shoes rather than baths with showers inside but they did work well

Just to mention that in order to benefit of the magnificence of the landscape, one should know that the villa is on the top of a hill and the are a few stairs to take or a an alternative way to walk (just a bit longer 100 meters) from the parking place.
