Beautiful hotel and decor and lovely location Restaurant was excellent for Dinner and breakfast Based in the coach house .. which had recently been refurbished to a high standard and excellent size room and bed with lovely views including coffee machine.
Beautiful recently refurbished coach house rooms would benefit from further insulation to block out noise levels from neighbouring rooms and those above .
Staff really friendly.Room was immaculate and newly refurbished.Ate in the restaurant for evening meal =staff were really lovely and helpful and the meal was excellent.Full English breakfast in the morning which again was lovely. It was a work trip but I am going to return and bring my wife as it was a lovely stay.
Beautiful building, nice decor and comfy bed. Staff were friendly (when available). East parking and great location
It was annoying that reception never answered the phone, the WiFi didn’t work in my room and thermostat also did not work - it was stuck on 23.5.

Not within walking distance of any pubs/restaurants. There is one pub in the village but shut Monday and Tuesday

Dinner is a little bit pricey.
I love it all. Everything and everyone there. As if it's my manor and I go there for city breaks. It's my special anniversary place every year for the past 12 years.
Gorgeous building and grounds. The staff were all lovely, including the groundsmen who were very happy to give you the history of the house and gardens. We weren't going eat at their Lavender Restaurant as it was quite pricey, but we changed our minds and opted for the 2 course set menu. We're very glad we did as the meal was one of the most delicious we have eaten in a long time. We had high hope...
Breakfast was a disapointment, especially since dinner had been so good. The full English was particularly poor, the scrambled eggs were unseasoned and over cooked as were the sausages. The bacon was not crispy. The baked beans were the best thing on the plate! My wifes pancakes with maple syrup and berries was also a diapointment. Superb breakfast made me only more sad that a prior engagement meant we didn't have an evening meal there
