Pros (+) The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The additional perks of nightly turn-down service, evening wine and horsd'oeuvres, full breakfast and coffee/pastries were the icing on the cake!
Cons (-) We were lucky to book and stay only 2 nights. I became aware there is a 3-night minimum when I looked for future weekends because we enjoyed it so much we cannot wait to go back.

Pros (+) I loved everything about this Grand mansion. I came across this place by accident as I was looking to stay in Harleston Village. A renovated former mansion - it pretty much fulfilled any fantasy you may have about a "Downton Abbey" experience, american style!! A breathtakingly grand entrance, the library, parlour, sunroom for pre dinner drinks, a copula for beautiful views of Charleston. Breakfast...
Cons (-) There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel....however, each room is unique. So your experience may differ. I would like to try a room with a view next time!

Pros (+) Our room was exceptional! I felt like royalty and I would love to live there! The food was delicious. We enjoyed the afternoon wine and appetizers and the evening port and sherry!
