Pros (+) I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had a room with a balcony / sea view which was incredible to people watch while sharing a bottle of wine. It is a short walk and near all of the restaurants - a perfect home base for a trip to the French Riviera.

Cons (-) we had booked a double room but on arrival at the hotel was told it was a twin, this has happened to us before I think it's to do with booking.com as I definitely selected a double but they sorted it out for us. Thank you Welcome Hotel, we will be back.

Pros (+) Just a little further than Nice, Ville franche is in my opinion vastly superior with stunning views, perfect for relaxation just wonder where residents could even contemplate going elsewhere for a holiday. superb.

Pros (+) Fantastic location and the staff are all amazing. Good wine selection.
Cons (-) Not really 4 star in my opinion for the following reasons... lack of food options in the bar, bottled water only supplied on first day, lacking in bathroom amenities not even a shower cap provided. Tried to charge incorrect amount on check out but fortunately I noticed in time. No apology, receptionist just made a joke about it. So suggest check your bill and the amount charged carefully

Pros (+) A piece of history. Initially I thought the hotel was a little 'dated' but quickly realised it had true charm. Our bed was a little hard for us as were the pillows but the staff did find pillows that had more 'give'. Staff super friendly. Position was wonderful for exploring the narrow streets and for gazing at the sea and little port. Would definitely return.
Cons (-) Just the mattress and pillows. Would be wonderful if hotels had hard and soft pillows to choose from but they did their best to help.
