Loved everything about his property. Except maybe the walk up the hill to it, but that’s not at the fault of the hotel haha. It was perfectly located in the center of Quito, the staff were very nice and welcoming, my room was perfect and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I also loved the decor and style of the hotel, I had to walk around inside to admire it. A big thank you to Judith...
Nothing really I can say that I didn’t like about the property. It was all around great and I highly recommend it!Read more
Great location with views of the Angel statue and old town, very nice breakfast (included in price) with fresh fruit and muesli as well as cooked breakfast and great coffee
The hotel has an open terrace with great views and a restaurant on the top floor which seemed a bit under-utilised in the evenings; the rooms did not provide coffee, only tea
Beautiful, historical hotel with a great view of historic Quito. Great staff who were always available, friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on the top floor with amazing dinners and commanding views. Be sure to eat dinner there during your stay. Breakfast was served in the same restaurant and was also delicious.
Given that this is a historic property, it’s not surprising that our room was a little small. But I believe the pictures are accurate. Also consider that the price of wonderful views is a steep, but not too long walk up from the historic center.
Accommodation where every tourist feels excellent. The staff takes care of everything a traveler needs and caters to all their wishes. A wonderful view of the old town and El Panecillo further delights the traveler.
We stayed in room 14 top corner with beautiful views. The breakfasts were great. Staff was always welcoming and helpful and accommodated our unexpected 3:30 am arrival with grace. The location is up a large hill which we walked once and then used $2 Uber rides to get back to the hotel. We ended up liking the restaurant so much we had dinner there 3 nights. Lovely art collection throughout.
It was the older section of the hotel so windows weren’t soundproof and we did hear some noise at night although hotel is on a quiet residential street.
Outstanding breakfast.
Could not have been better cared for. Restaurant was excellent and the views of Quito spectacular.
Lovely hotel with excellent views over the city. Nice rooms and interesting hotel. Staff excellent. Only disappointment was a second cup of coffee at breakfast was chargeable?
Really friendly and helpful staff (David & Judith), cosy comfortable room with a fantastic shower, good food at reasonable prices in restaurant and a great massage to boot!
Missed the steps on entering restaurant and landed quite painfully on my arse..not a criticism as I should’ve been looking where I was going but they need to be aware that tired travellers aren’t always fully aware of surroundings and to point out the steps to be safe.
It was a great stay. The staff was extremely helpful and the food in the restaurant was wonderful.
With no central heating it was chilly for my taste.
Fabulous. Staff went above and beyond. Food was exceptional. It was a wonderful introduction to Equador.
