Nice rooms, good location, attentive staff and service oriented staff.
Not power socket at the work desk.
This is a fairly new hotel within about a 15 minute walk to the old centre, and we found it ideal for us to explore Viseu on our way home from the Algarve. All the staff were very friendly, in particular Wilson on the desk who greeted us the evening we arrived an suggested a couple of restaurants. Breakfast selections were plentiful but the wooden spoons for serving jam etc were just too large! Ve...
Car parking is vey 'tight' with only 6 spaces including one for disabled drivers, and is accessed almost directly off a roundabout - not easy for large cars. In our room, the wardrobe rails were too high (especially for short people like myself!). I enjoyed a one-night stay at this lovely hotel while taking a road trip on the historic N2 highway. Name of the hotel and photos suggested a higher standard with more facilities. In fact there was no restaurant or bar, but just a small section off the lobby which served as the breakfast room. Beverages and snacks were served in that same area upon request. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and our stay was quite enjoyable.
Quiet, safe, clean.
No real privacy in the bathroom and no fan so your spouse can hear all bodily noises .
10 minute walk to key sights in Viseu. Comfortable bed. Front desk person named person named Will provided outstanding service such as changing our room to one more to our liking and suggesting a restaurant where we had the best dinner we’ve had in Portugal.

Tiny bathroom and sink in the bedroom are a bit negatively affecting. Also, no power socket next to the work table to enable continuous work with a computer.
