The villa was a beautiful place to spend a few days. A very relaxing place to chill and unwind. It was really helpful to still have access to the beach and pool area (which was beautiful and vast) upon check out.
There was no hot water in our downstairs shower; our bed was broken (bedpost) with a dodgey looking repair; the curtains didn't close properly in the lounge; the dining chairs in the breakfast area were stained and/or bits broken off the back of them; the bar area was dirty (dirty tables needing to be cleared and cleaned) while there were 4 staff behind the bar, all on their phones. The place, location, cleanliness
The staff are not speaking English or any other languages except vitnamees + in the water park there is severe staff shortage so, one game from. Beautiful pool and beach. Good breakfast
The staff have no idea how to make a bed, they don’t clean cups etc. Nobody speak English, no smiles. At the breakfast when you go to take drinks they take your untouched plate and you go to take your food again! When you are back your drink gone!
This is an amazing island, accessible by boat or cable car - both free of charge to guests. Great hotel and facilities and amazing beachfront. Room is slightly outdated (loose bathroom tiles) but it didn't matter to us. Great breakfast selection!
The resort has jetskiing and other water sports that are run from independent providers. It's a shame that the peace and tranquillity of this amazing island is disturbed by the noise - myself being one of those who hired a jetskii. The water sports should be kept, however they should put some distance between the beach and the ride, e.g. 1 or 2 niles away from the shore like many European countrie...Read more
We were disappointed that the park tickets were so expensive when purchased at the reception — and only valid for one day — while buying online gives you three days for the same price. We were also very unhappy with the rules at Win Wonder Park. Both our kids are under 1.3 meters and were not allowed to use the water park or most of the other activities. Fantastic in every way, from arrival to departure
Awesome place to stay. I must say they were EXCELLENT at making the "getting to the hotel" as easy as possible. The hotel is located in an island and you can get there either by speedboat or cable car, both are run by the same company that runs the hotel. The beach is white sand and beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and we had our own private pool. The kids loved the facilities and Vin Wonders- it’s ideal for kids
It was not our taste. It was done in this faux opulent style but wasn’t pretty or natural. It didn’t seem 5 star in terms of aesthetics. Very corporate. Vin Pearl owns the whole island so there is zero local culture with buggies to get everywhere. There are multiple resorts and this utterly bizarre huge fake town that we found pretty depressing but kids enjoyed.
The facilities, pool and beach were wonderful. When the wind was onshore there was a lot of plastic in the water but the resort cleaned it up immediately when it washed up. Otherwise the water was great and refreshing. The staff were friendly, but spoke more Russian as their 2nd language rather than English so communication was a bit lost at times. The food, apart from the breakfast was horrible. There were very few western options and even less options for kids to eat.
