It is a beautiful property on what might be the most idyllic slice of beach on Holbox.
I loved it, all of it, the only thing I can think of that is even mildly unpleasant is the mosquitos that come at dusk and dawn but that is true all over the Quintana Roo, just bring bug spray.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The beach area is definitely the nicest part of Holbox. The restaurant is also one of the best. The Food was out of this world. The room felt luxurious and incredibly comfortable. We loved the pool as well with the swim up bar. The photos on their website simply don't do this place justice. We will definitely be back.

This was our 4th stay at Caracol, and it’s always great. Fantastic property for those with kids when on the island. We’ll be back!

The little sweets in the evening were a lovely touch. Furthermore, the complimentary sundowner drink was a nice gesture.
This hotel is simply too expensive for what you get—$500 per night is just not justified. For breakfast, only basic black coffee is included, and you're charged extra for a cappuccino, which feels unreasonable at this price point. It’s a very intimate hotel beautifully appointed. The restaurant is excellent, the location is perfect and there are plenty of amenities. The guest to staff ratio makes you feel always well attended.
