Location, surroundings, beautiful buildings
Cold rooms Shuttle - very expenssive
This is an old estate of a noble family, built in a baroque or neo-classical style, with a vast garden. We felt we had this whole palace to ourselves. Amazing place.
I thought that Villa Olmi was just beautiful. despite it being almost mid winter, the gardens were immaculate, the interior stunning especially with all the Christmas decorations and it’s was beautifully and tastefully decorated.

20 min outside Florence, the hotel shuttle drops you 25 min walk outside the centre The rooms in the chalet are not a patch on the rooms in the main building The hair drier in the room blew up fusing all the electrics in the chalets
We wanted a special holiday for our dad who was celebrating his 85th birthday. Alessandro, Elisa, Gabirelle and of course Paula and all the staff of Villa Olmi were absolutely amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble and anything we asked was done in the most courteous way that made us feel very comfortable and welcome, the staff were just brilliant, some of the best we have ever come across. co...
Menu was a little sparse, would have liked more options especially during the day. The only food item that we did not like was the eggplant parmagiana, it was too small in size and was over cooked.Read more
Everything is just wonderful
Nothing
The room
The staff (especially at the restaurant). Overall staff are no way near a 4 star hotel level.
We loved the entire property at Villa Olmi. The gardens, pool and rooms were all spectacular. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a bit out of the city center but it’s a lovely and peaceful environment away from the crowds. Breakfast was also nice.
The restaurant food for dinner could have been better/ more variety.
