A character building with so much history. Appreciated the wine and chocolates as it was our birthdays. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.
Didn't like the modern touches done like the bar with no comfortable seating. The bedroom was a mixture of old and new with filthy windows, and the toilet design awful. No privacy at all, with a glass door with no lock and an open aspect!!! No window and no extractor fan.
Gorgeous historical building! Everything was clean and the staff very helpful!

Great stay with lovely restaurant at very reasonable prices
It took 3 attempts to negotiate the detour to get to the hotel car park due to building renovations nearby prevented the use of the usual access. It would have been good to have the diversion information before we made the journey.
Staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent.
No kettle or beverage making facilities in the room, and no iron and ironing board provided.
A historical hotel, located in an old monastery and beautifully restored. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. The hotel is centrally located close to restaurants and shops.
Very helpful staff, lovely meal in the a la carte restaurant, reasonable priced and great children's menu. Grandchildren very happy with their meal and mum and grandparents very happy with our meal. Very good buffet breakfast.

The location and staff here are what standout and make this a fantastic place to stay. Staff were very helpful when we had questions, and went above and beyond (thank you David O.) when we ran into problems with our car rental. Beautiful historical building and great customer service. The location and services were outstanding. Thank you for making our stay extra special to celebrate a special occasion. We have really enjoyed it and we will come back.
