The hotel is set in a former monastery, offering an impressive and atmospheric environment. The room was spacious and featured a small balcony. The breakfast was abundant, and the location is excellent — right in the heart of the old town.
When traveling as two friends and sharing a twin room you might find the room lacks privacy, as the bathroom has no door and the toilet and shower are separated only by glass partitions.
Beautiful facilities, friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet and restaurant.
The hotel parking lot was difficult to find due to extensive construction near the hotel. This issue should be cleared up when the construction is completed.
The property was beautiful, very clean. Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was the best I've seen in a hotel.

Classic and Historic building. Location is Optimal to explore Braga...Staff are friendly and outgoing...Gym, Pools and Spa excellent. Breakfast buffet with made to order a bonus. Room was large and a great shower.
Room for improvement. The property is looking dated across the board...Investment in new bedding, carpet, paint and etc. would bring the property the prestige it deserves...
Breakfast was great and the staff for the breakfast were exceptional.
A character building with so much history. Appreciated the wine and chocolates as it was our birthdays. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.
Didn't like the modern touches done like the bar with no comfortable seating. The bedroom was a mixture of old and new with filthy windows, and the toilet design awful. No privacy at all, with a glass door with no lock and an open aspect!!! No window and no extractor fan.

Great stay with lovely restaurant at very reasonable prices
It took 3 attempts to negotiate the detour to get to the hotel car park due to building renovations nearby prevented the use of the usual access. It would have been good to have the diversion information before we made the journey.
Staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent.
No kettle or beverage making facilities in the room, and no iron and ironing board provided.
