The attitude of the staff. The private beach. The quiet calmness of the place. The location and arrangement of the terrace restaurant.
Cost of food and drink. Over €7 for a bottle of water is scandalous. Some elements of breakfast service eg only warm water for tea, top of syrup not clean.
Wonderful location, spacious comfortable room, good parking, superb views and amazing breakfast. Above all I would like to thank Aleš Zaletelj for helping return an iPad we left in the room to the UK

We arrived at 2.30pm to check in and were told the only table left available for dinner was at 6pm
Beautiful property! Love the location and the private beach. Free row boat rentals. SUP wasn’t free but worth the small fee.
No A/C. Didn’t need it at night but during the day/afternoon it was very hot. Unable to get reservation at the restaurant. Would have been nice to have another option. Would be nice to have a small cafe/bar to get light food and drinks

The shower in the bathroom was mediocre. The handheld showerhead was not secured so it was difficult to use.
Location on the lake exceptional…from what we could tell it was only one of two that offered lounge chairs on the dock to enjoy the day…plus one hour complementary canoe to take to the island. Very clean and comfortable.
Some spaces were a bit dated and could use a refresh. Love the historic component (aged stairs and columns)…but torn furniture needs replacement…definite wear and tear.

Quirky hotel in stunning location - an oasis in Bled which can get very busy with tourists. Staying here felt like a privilege. Staff were kind and helpful, we loved it. The private bathing deck down at the lake was especially beautiful and appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Dinner was a highlight of our trip to Slovenia
The rooms were spacious but in need of some upgrades (air conditioning or better cooling system), bathroom. For a hotel of this quality they seemed a little short staffed in places … nevertheless the staff who were there did their best to serve everyone.

Some of the staff are unsmiling and unfriendly - particularly during breakfast service. One of the senior reception team was blatantly rude when I asked for help booking a restaurant - asking me to wait to speak to a colleague who was clearly busy with a check-in and just going into her office and closing the door.
