Everything was fabulous!
Someone let all the air out of all our bicycle tires over night while they were on the back of the car. It was a real panic at the race start the next morning!

Just a note that the apartment is entirely self-catering (apart from the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival :) thank Rolf!) so you will need to either bring food with you or drive to the supermarket. You will need to buy everything though... it would have been useful to have some household things like some cooking oil and hand soap already there as these are not really things we would buy for...Read more
Situation, view, pool.
The bed was the worst we have ever had in Italy, I think it is at least 30 years old. Very dark apartment, with a really small window and bad lightings. We love traditional Italian houses but traditional doesn’t mean uncomfortable and with old 80’s decoration, especially with this price. Wonderful location overlooking the valley of the Arno, great for relaxing and chilling, but also for hiking and exploring the region. The hosts are very nice, all the rooms are very tastefully furnished and comfortable, even for a longer stay. The swimming pool is very good, too.

Rolf and Beatte were very helpful and took an iterest in our well being and of our friends. They were so kind to give us gifts for the wedding couple.
