Great location. Friendly staff. Great mocktails and cocktails.
Food was plain and in some occasions not well done. French fries raw and crab overcooked.
We had such a lovely stay — this place is a hidden gem! The staff were super friendly and made us feel so welcome from the start. Beautiful pool and rooms. Delicious food - both breakfast and beach bar. Recommend trip to pigeon island to snorkel
Food/drink quite expensive. A taxi into Trincomalee- too far to walk and no neighboring restaurants.
Lovely location next to the beach. Food was quite good.
Service in the restaurant could be variable; we often had to ask 3 or 4 times for items. We were not told at any point that there was major construction work going on around the swimming pool which made it unappealing to use. The beach bar / restaurant was very pleasant and the staff good, however the loud old fashioned Euro pop music was dreadful. Rooms are in need of an upgrade.

There were a couple of things that were not great -especially for a resort that you are paying a premium price for 1. Check in process was protracted and clumsy We were told that you can pay cash in USD … but when given we’re told a couple of 100 dollar notes were unacceptable -ie not going to be accepted in SL bank although the notes were changed in Australian bank! The staff were all fabulous. They were very kind and friendly from the moment we arrived. We really loved chatting to them all. We liked the jungle around our room (as we saw beautiful butterflies and heard the birds) but also appreciated the quick access to the beach. The staff are wonderful the manager Deleepe went out of his way to make our stay perfect. The staff all delightful and efficient Methila and all the staff at the restaurant. The food extremely good with ample choice and change in the menu every day. The location perfect on the sea and in the forest
Maybe the beds at the pool.
Beautiful design of the hotel, very comfortable rooms, but most of all friendly staff, especially Manoj, Tharshika and Mithila.
A beach bar looked very deserted and didn’t have much to offer.
