The hotel rooms generally use borrowed light i.e. from internal light wells to illuminate the rooms. Few rooms have views onto outdoor spaces or with a real view. Get one of the rooms with a view if you can. The hotel really tries to accommodate its guest's requests. The space around the rear pool was a bit tight and the pool got shadowed early in the day.Read more
Good location in the city center, hotel is bigger than looks like with quite interesting architecture, very large room & bathroom & terrace.
Breakfast should be better for the price range. The towels are greyish and bed linen is stained.

Hated the pull down curtains in bathroom, never use bath, and there was gaps in the curtains so could see other person sitting on toilet ! not good, plus other gaps, so lacked privacy. DID NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL also closed in balcony not recommended. Roofbar had a great view, but better if even a small pool up there. Monkeys were there when we had a look.

More vegetarian options at breakfast would be nice. Inconsistent room cleaning. One day toothbrush and ear buds were replaced yet not on the next day

The room was extremely nice. Staff was extremely friendly. Location was pretty good in busy Ubud. The room itself was quiet and had no noise pollution from outside. Breakfast was pretty nice specially the cooked breakfast.
Every day after the room being cleaned all lights and Aircon were left on. Why such a waste of energy in such a fancy sustainable hotel? Also, the hotel is a bit of a maze and was easy to get lost. Better signaling could help.
