Cons (-) The breakfast was terrible. I expressed this to the staff. I paid for it anyway even though I barely ate anything. All the food in the buffet looked old and most of it was cold, really bad to be honest. A shame because outside of that the experience was pleasant.

Pros (+) • The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for exploring Madrid. • The building itself is a beautifully preserved historic palace, which adds charm and elegance to the stay. • The staff were extremely polite, kind, and helpful throughout our visit.
Cons (-) • I paid nearly €400 for one night, and this was during a low season, right after the end of the holiday period. While the hotel is nice, I’ve stayed in many other 5-star properties at similar prices that offered a much better value for money.
