Pros (+) The property is lovely, calm and relaxing. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful and were very courteous.
Cons (-) For a four star property I would expect face cloths, magnifying mirror and a better quality hairdryer (they had a mini travel type). Also our room had a fridge, sink and dining table but no coffee machine or kettle. Breakfast was ok but when something ran out (ricotta, fruit) they didn’t replenish. Also a whole grain bread would have been a nice.

Pros (+) Beautiful stylish masseria with fabulous infinity pool and sunbathing oasis and lots of lovely lounging and dining spaces dotted around the beautifully manicured grounds. Great views towards the coast and of the surrounding countryside and we enjoyed visiting the amazing hill town of Pisticci - quite a sight ! Our room was spacious and comfortable and had a superb well equipped bathroom with fanta...
Cons (-) Because of the architecture of the Masseria our room was quite dark and had no private outdoor space -however as it was quiet during our visit there were plenty of lovely outdoor seating options for us to use for our aperitivos- it may have been more of an issue if the weather hadn’t been good !

Pros (+) The location is convenient and the Masseria keeps a very traditional layout and architecture. The welcoming reception/staff.
Cons (-) The decoration of the rooms is below the standards of a 4* hotel. As an example, my room was only equipped with a portable air condition (in the middle of the hottest region of Italy...). The restaurant and the breakfast were poor.

Pros (+) This was a highlight of our trip in Basilicata. The pool was fantastic, and our family suite was very comfortable. I opted for an in-room massage and it was wonderful. Dinner was delicious, we phà our young kids with us and the restaurant prepared simple pastas for them. A spot of pure luxury.
