Just a great location for everything needed to relay and enjoy the environment.
Room cleaning was well done, but not done at a convenient or regular time. One day, we had to call reception at 5pm to get our room clean. The impact being that towels and bedding remained stail and unusable until late in the day, when finally changed. Cleaners also failed to top up shower gel. Not good enough for this class of hotel.
Direct access to the beach, good breakfast buffet, comfortable beds
It is a very bombastic hotel like a castle including roman statues in the garden and a 3-meter high Statue of Liberty (which is kind of weird for a country full of memorials of the war against the american imperialists). Well located right on the beach, clean and spacious room. Very nice pool and good SPA. It's within walking distance to everything you'd need. Though for a 5 stars there is need for improvement. the bathroom would need a bit more attention from the maintenance staff. Towels and bathrobes are a bit old.
The pool bar is a bit depressing. Hard to get serviced, you need to get the security staff to call a waiter. Hardly any service on the beach and it closes at 10PM.
Right at the beach. The beach was great and the sea was nice and warm. And a shower to rinse of the sand. Pool right there as well. Kids room was a favorite. Grounds were pretty well kept. Free ride from and to the airport. Check out Italian restaurant Camia close to the hotel. Normally I like to eat as much local food as possible, but this place is outstanding. Great staff as well.
This was one of the more expensive places we stayed at on our trip. 5 stars. Really looked forward to it. For a 5 star hotel, there's plenty of room for improvement: - Didn't like the breakfast at all. Everything was uncooled (milk, cold cuts, etc). The room is also not airconditioned.
