Food was really good. Breakfast croissants were fresh. Good selection at buffet bar of hot and cold options. We also had dinner here one night and had an excellent Indian meal.
Property is old in a tired way. Needs upgrading and refurbishing. Room was a good size but didn’t feel luxurious and we lugged bags down long halls and stairs. They do have a spa and husband said massage was good.
Amazing location next to major attractions. And spectacular service and tremendous food. Best Indian food in the UK!! And they have pizza ovens. Spa was amazing as well.
Gym could be bigger and the hot tub and sauna should be complimentary.
Old style inn with a pretty location at the lake, great view from the dining area and the terrace. Good breakfast.
Not much to do in the vicinity. For us it was just a one night stop over on the way.

the hotel is next to the lake, beautiful view to have dinner or breakfast inside the hotel restaurant.
The staff is very helpful and doing literally everything to ensure you’re happy with the experience. The breakfast was wonderful, we’ll miss the mango smoothies and cinamon swirls. Beds were turned down nightly, nice gesture.
Nothing comes to mind.
Outstanding accommodation. Amazing location. Fantastic staff - always friendly and helpful. Excellent food - both breakfast and dinner. All in all made us feel spoilt.
Nothing.
Such a lovely welcome from all the staff we came across. We arrived at 5pm and were immediately offered complimentary tea and cakes on the terrace beside the Loch before going to our kindly upgraded room which was such a treat with stunning scenery. Snacks and water were delivered to our room and after an apéritif on the terrace, we had a delicious curry. Clean and comfortable room. Lovely buffet ...
