Grounds & location are amazing, lovely country walks close by, plenty of parking, staff were all welcoming and friendly
The rooms feel a bit dated & don’t match the impressive first impression you get from the outside when you drive up to the hotel
Everything about the Upper House was professional, quality and high class. Room was perfect, food imaginative and well served. Great staff. Very nice breakfast with plenty of choice.
Nothing at all.
The whole hotel was exceptionally clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room had a beautiful view, the gardens are beautiful and we had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, would highly recommend and we hope to return again very soon
The only negative I can think of is the fact that I only booked 1 night
Location
Hotel inundated with flies everywhere, room ,bar, restaurant, toilets . Reporting to local authority. Staff did not seem to care at all. Service in the bar was none existent. Dismal
Attention to detail. Lovely white table clothes, nice food, lovely grounds
The pillows were not very comfortable and the duvet a bit hot everything else was great
Setting and gardens. Beautiful area. Food quality was average.
Service very slow. Bedroom not properly clean. Beds very soft, very uncomfortable sinky and creaky mattress. Bins not emptied from previous guests. Flies in bedroom. Dead flies along windowsill area in dining area.
Beautiful grounds. Gardens were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious and clean.
Creaky floorboards meant the persons above us kept us awake late.
The bed was so comfortable and cozy, the room and en-suite were clean. The hotel staff were amazing, so polite and helpful.
