Beautiful house in beautiful setting the gardens are so pretty . Lovley atmosphere. Very comfortable and clean .

I was offered an upgrade to a small double room but when I double checked that was what id booked and paid for anyway!! Breakfast was clearly finished by the time we got down - before the finish time! Having said that staff found us some more fruit and quickly took our hot food order. Food good altho gluten free bread very basic white!!
Staff were exceptional, helpful and attentive, and the whole place was just beautiful. So clean, stylish and comfortable. The room felt brand new and the evening food was wonderful, lots of choice. Breakfast was super. The location looking out over green fields from the terrace at sunset - stunning, and the gardens full of flowers. Couldn’t ask for more.

Not a lot
1. The location is rural sand superb. 2. The property is 19th century with beautiful grounds, well maintained. 3. It was quiet and comfortable with good quality carpets and curtains. 4. There was an electric charging point- very important as we have a fully electric car. 5. There were proper table cloths, decent cutlery etc.
1. The bedrooms were hot and a bit stuffy. It was difficult to open old sash windows. 2. The breakfast was quite good but a bit limited if you wanted continental type breakfast
The whole stay was perfect from check-in, friendly courteous staff, and beautiful location.

No fridges in room A paid bottle of fizz was not placed in room so spoilt surprise when had to chase it up More choice of fruits at breakfast and types of bread

A beautiful setting for this hotel. Room was well appointed. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Dinner was delicious -good variety on the menu. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Muffins at breakfast could be fresher.
