Lovely location in the Cotswolds. The hotel spaces are beautifully decorated. We had a large room overlooking the garden with a wonderful selection of coffees and teas. The staff was outstanding! Shoutout to Natalia at the front desk for the warm welcome and assisting us with all our needs. The food at the hotel was delicious!
I loved the whole atmosphere. The look, the location, the comfort. They were super dog friendly too. On the whole it was a great experience.
The location is great to enjoy Bibury when the tour groups stop operating.
Granted that this is an old hotel, the windows had mold/mildew on them. Check-in was quick but the staff didn't provide any further information as to parts of the hotel guests could enjoy (i.e. garden, patio, etc.) and there weren't any information in our rooms either. Although the parking lot was for the hotel, nobody monitors it so a lot of the spots were taken up by visitors to the town.
The hotel is located very centrally and has a lovely outside garden for food and drinks. Inside it is clean and decorated beautifully. Really nice refreshments, tea and coffee provided in the rooms. High end products for the bath Room service is great. It's a great way to treat yourself.
The hotel only has parking for 7-8 cars in the front and they're always occupied. We had to park in one of the additional parking areas down the road but the traffic for getting there and back was a nightmare. The town is clearly very popular and large tourist couches arrive every morning with busy crowds everywhere. The beds in our room weren't very comfortable unfortunately. There were lots of tourists and there was no space for parking in the parking area of the hotel. We noticed that most of the spaces where empty at night so they were not guests of the hotel. Nevertheless this doesnt take out the glamour and hospitality of the hotel.
