A wonderful gem on the pacific coast highway, right across from the Malibu Pier. Here for a concert 2 doors down, at Aviator Nation Dreamland. Enjoyed both rain and sunshine during our 2 night stay. Be aware the rooftop bar not open, but could still hang out and bring own food and drinks up there. It’s an amazing place to just chill and watch surfers. The room was very small and noisy. Despite double pane windows, the traffic on the main road was overwhelming.
Location was right off the highway which I didn't expect. Photos made it look like it was a little more secluded than it actually was. The entire property looks like a motel, which I didn't expect. Rooms were smaller than expected. BUT quality of room itself was very nice...staff was exceptional...food was very, very good. Rooftop experience was very very nice.
Nothing can be done about this point...but just realize that this isn't a remote beachfront retreat...it's right alongside the highway and on a tiny stamp of land, so you can't meander about. Still a great choice, all things considered. Simply, not a "resort" or a larger property like Laguna's Hideaway.
The staff was excellent iand the amenities are great! Beach chairs, towels, surfboards WIFI.
There was nothing not to like about this hotel! 😀
